 In 2003 Gary J. Long Jewelers celebrated its 20th anniversary.
Since we were founded in 1983, we have strived to provide the optimum in Customer Service. Our mission is to give each customer the finest merchandise possible at the lowest price. Our founders, Gary J. Long and Margaret M. Long, have nearly 37 years of experience in the jewelry industry, and they work with only the top designers and manufacturers in bringing to our customers the latest styles and the finest jewelry available. We carry such top designer jewelry brands as Hearts on Fire, Simon G, Charles Krypell, Hildago, D' Annunzio, Norman Covan, Leddel International and Yehuda; bridal sets and wedding rings by A. Jaffe, Precision Set and Benchmark; Avalon neck chains; Britt Anderson South Sea pearls; and Omega watches. Over the years we have traveled to major jewelry shows, even to South Africa, in quest of the finest diamonds and jewelry we can find for our customers. From time to time we conduct special shows right in our store for customers, featuring some of our designers.
Our gold chains carry a lifetime guarantee - if anything ever happens to a chain purchased at Long's it will be replaced at no charge. Gary J. Long Jewelers is a member of the prestigious American Gem Society, which is composed only of jewelers who have maintained a high standard of quality and integrity. The AGS has a stringent code of ethics, and fewer than 2,000 stores nationwide qualify for membership. Only one in 100 applicants is accepted. Gary Long is a past member of the AGS Board of Directors. Most recently Gary was honored with Robert B. Westover Award, presented by the CJA to individuals for their outstanding contributions to the jewelry industry. Those are just a few of the reasons why Gary J. offer our customers a "Preferred Platinum Promise," which assures high
quality and service by guaranteeing a lifetime warranty on the loss of
a diamond in jewelry purchased at Long's, plus assurance that if a customer
wants to trade in a diamond for a larger one, the full purchase price
of the old diamond will be credited.
